Former Assistant Shop Manager/Fishing Guide

Hunter is a homegrown Central Oregon angler. He started working in The Hook at 14. You can find Hunter fishing or guiding on the Crooked River, Upper Deschutes, or Fall River. Hunter is a devoted fly fisher with a strong passion for teaching others what he knows.

Russ Seaton

Store Manager and Booking Agent, Russ hails from Illinois and is a CUBS fan! A retired teacher and Director of Performing Arts he still performs in local theatres and various venues around Oregon. Russ has been working in fly shops and guiding on Central Oregon rivers and lakes for nearly 30 years.

Tommy Niebergall

Fishing Guide

Tommy has been fishing the local waters since he was a kid in high school, and has developed a serious passion for teaching others how to be successful on the water. Being a P.E teacher and high school baseball coach in the offseason, he is great with kids and people of all ages and experience levels.

Josh White

Owner/Fishing Guide

Having come from a background of saltwater and bass Fishing in California, Josh is a very experienced angler. Now focusing on fly fishing  our local fisheries, you’ll find Josh working in the shop on a regular basis and guiding our local Lakes.

Howard Abshere

Fishing Guide
Howard moved to Bend in the 1970’s and fell in love with Crane Prairie and has been fishing it ever since. Now in his 17th year as a guide, he brings a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to our staff.

Del Miller  

Guide/Shop

A world traveling fly fisher and long time guide, Del has been a fine addition to our staff! A teacher at a local school, he is very willing to share his knowledge of flies, techniques, reading water and stream etiquette.

Cade Wilkins
River Guide

Cade has a passion of fishing and the outdoors, as well as helping people develop life long skills. In the off season he spends his time as a Teacher and Baseball coach.
